Trailer Converted to Fridge Part 2

The trailer conversion is coming along, slow and steady. The electrical work was completed by a professional electrician so we can have an outlet, overhead lighting, and a switch by the door. We are currently framing out the storage area and installing four inches of insulation on the refrigerator side.

The floor currently has the full four inches of insulation and plywood installed. The walls and floor have two inches so far.

We are inspired by N.C. State’s “Pack N Cool” system utilizing the CoolBot. Our Air Conditioner is 1500 BTUs which should cool our 8 foot by 12 foot space well.
