May Update at the Garden

Turner Construction volunteered their time with 32 people and donated $2,000 in materials for the new 100-foot vertical garden we are building. Everyone worked tirelessly and made a wonderful impact!

Above, the volunteers prepped rows and laid down plastic to prevent weeds.

Above, the volunteers put stakes in the ground and secured the metal wire in a arc.

In other news, we have some beautiful Kale and Broccoli almost ready to donate to Elijah’s Promise and Replenish.

Sadly, the original onion crop failed, so we are starting over with Dixiondale Onions. If interested in planting the same, read up here.
